Irish commercial fleet management company Fleetmatics has reported a 40% jump in revenues for the final quarter of the year, according to results filed with the New York stock exchange.

An Irish software company that supplies fleet management solutions for fleets of commercial vehicles, Fleetmatics, has reported a jump in profits of nearly 50%.

The global headquarters of a vehicle management software company will be opened in Dublin by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny today.

Manufacturing production in Ireland is still expected to grow by between 2% and 3% this year, despite figures showing a marginal decline in August — the first fall in six months.
