Frankenstein’s monster is a Hollywood horror icon, but Paul McGuigan’s Victor Frankenstein (12A) attempts to give Mary Shelley’s tale a fresh spin. 

Four top Irish films will be at the BFI London Film Festival which runs from the 7th to the 18th of October 2015.

A quite brilliant performance from Gallo – without speaking a word of dialogue – lends strength to Skolimowski’s gripping tale of a man lost and helpless in a world he doesn’t know.
