A storyline in TV drama Casualty warning about the dangers of smoking had to be binned – because of Wales’s anti-smoking laws.

A ban on tobacco promotion comes into force today in a bid to cut down on the number of people smoking.

SMOKING kills more people than Aids, murder, drugs, road accidents and suicide combined, but governments and the EU are allowing tobacco companies to influence their policies.
