A SECURITY guard attempted to kill two young Irishmen who were on a night out with their wives at a bowling alley, prosecutors in New York have said.

A LIMERICK couple were at the hospital bedside of their son in a New York hospital yesterday where he was recovering from a bizarre shooting incident involving a security man.
