A TRAVEL operator was accused of living in Disneyland if he believed the state’s aviation regulator would let him fly hundreds of children and their parents to Lapland to meet Santa Claus this month.

HUNDREDS of Irish holiday-makers have been left stranded overseas after the collapse of one of Britain’s largest tour operators.

THE aviation regulator has dealt the Dublin Airport Authority a severe blow in its efforts to recover the €1.2 billion airport expansion cost, by ruling out a demand for a rise in passenger charges.

Charges for travellers flying from Dublin Airport will remain the same for the next two years, the Aviation Regulator announced today.
