Limerick begin the defence of their Munster MHC title at the Gaelic Grounds tonight (7pm) against Tipperary, the county they beat in last year’s semi-final (1-17 to 0-17) en-route to claiming a first minor provincial crown since 1984.

While the drawn Munster minor final nine days ago took place in the Gaelic Grounds, Waterford manager Seán Power never expected his side to have home advantage for tonight’s replay with Limerick (Semple Stadium, 7.30pm).

CHAMPIONS Cork make two changes from the team which defeated Waterford in the semi-final for Sunday’s Munster minor hurling championship final against Limerick in Pairc Uí Chaoimh.
