The 16-year-old choir girl who came close to dying but wouldn’t in the crumbled concrete graveyard of Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince astonished her doctors but not her mother with her miraculous survival.

A 17-YEAR-OLD girl pulled from the rubble in a stunning rescue 15 days after the earthquake was in stable condition yesterday, able to eat yoghurt and mashed vegetables to the surprise of doctors, who said her survival was medically inexplicable.
