GRAHAM CUMMINS grabbed his 11th goal of the season as high-flying Cork City saw off Premier Division St Pat’s in a pulsating EA Sports Cup quarter-final at Turner’s Cross yesterday.

IN spite of dominating for long periods, Cork City dropped two points when they failed to break down a resolute home defence.

NEWLY-ELECTED TDs Jonathan O’Brien and Mick Wallace were on opposite sides of the football divide in Turner’s Cross last night but it was Cork City who topped the poll, beating Wexford Youths with a goal before half-time from Vinny Sullivan, the striker who has returned from Waterford United for a second stint on the Lee.
