The UK’s High Court has dismissed an application from a solicitors’ firm that wanted to be indemnified for fees they failed to collect from customers who were paid compensation directly by Ryanair for delayed or cancelled flights.

The young revolutionary who killed the only policeman to die violently between 1916 and the War of Independence later became an early member of An Garda Síochána, a police researcher has found.
