A Dublin man who stabbed his father to death with a World War 1 sword has been found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity.

A man accused of murdering his father at a flat in Kimmage in Dublin is due to stand trial today.

A 29-year-old man, originally from Crumlin, has appeared in Dublin District Court charged with murdering his father last January.
