Hurricane Katrina ripped away part of the roof on the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans today as thousands of storm refugees huddled inside.

For thousands of New Orleans’ city’s poor, homeless and frail, just getting into the massive Louisiana Superdome and settling down was the hardest part.
