LAST year’s Kerry IFC champions Gneeveguilla face the prospect of an immediate return to that grade after they came up agonisingly short in a winner-take-all SFC round two clash at home to Dingle yesterday.

THEY may have required extra time to chisel out the result but St James were merited winners against Gneeveguilla in yesterday afternoon’s All-Ireland Club IFC semi-final in Mallow.

FOURTEEN-man Gneeveguilla booked their spot in the Munster Club IFC final when they edged out Newcestown in a pulsating semi-final at their club grounds yesterday.
