AN INQUEST will be held at Ennis Courthouse on December 10 into the death of Richard “Happy” Kelly whose remains were found in a lake after he was abducted and murdered by a Limerick drugs gang.

SEARCHERS for a teen’s body in a Limerick gangland murder have been invited to a social event tomorrow at the scene where the victim’s body was eventually discovered.

A MURDER investigation was launched by gardaí in Clare and Limerick last night after DNA tests showed that the skeleton found in a lake in Co Clare over a week ago was that of Richard “Happy” Kelly.

GARDAÍ in Limerick and Clare today expect to know the identity of the skeletal remains found in a lake more than a week ago.

SPECULATION increased last night that Limerick gardaí may be faced with a third murder investigation in the space of just over a week, after the discovery of human remains in a Clare lake.
