Gardaí have taken over a house at the centre of rape and murder allegations as they prepare to dig a garden for the remains of two newborns reported to have been buried there.

A High Court case is expected to challenge the findings of an inquest jury, which found that a baby girl who was discovered murdered in a laneway in Co Dublin more than 30 years ago was Cynthia Owen's daughter.
