The promoters of a film festival which celebrates Richard Harris in his native Limerick, has accused the city’s cultural establishment of snubbing the event after the city council gave it just €200.

LIMERICK will feature on New Zealand prime time television next month as part of the build-up to the November 18 Munster v All Blacks game in Thomond Park.

LIMERICK City Council will today be asked to give the go-ahead for a portrait of the late Richard Harris to be hung in City Hall.
