THE sale of 120 lots of furniture, paintings, silver and porcelain from Mount Congreve, Kilmeaden, Co Waterford is expected to bring in around £2.5m at Christie’s in London next May 23.

AN 18th century cabinet broke its own record price for a piece of furniture at auction yesterday when it sold for more than €27.5 million.
