The sister of murdered Sharon Coughlan has told how she believes her sibling would still be alive today if Ireland had tougher laws on foreign criminals entering the country.

Justice Minister Alan Shatter is considering fresh appeals from the family of a woman murdered and raped five years ago not to repatriate her killer back to the Czech Republic.
