A WIN is a win, but neither players, supporters or coach were much pleased with Leinster’s performance in last night’s Magners league clash with old rivals the Ospreys at the RDS.

ROB KEARNEY makes a timely comeback from illness for Saturday’s Magners League clash against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade (5.30pm), but will be under pressure to produce a top-class display to win his place in the Leinster Heineken Cup final team.

UCD coach Killian Keane conceded AIB League defeat to Constitution long before the finish of this tie at Temple Hill on Saturday, and then boldly predicted that the Cork side would win the title.

THE result apart, there was little for UL/Bohemian supporters or players to celebrate after Saturday’s 16-8 victory over UCD in the first series of AIB League games at the University of Limerick.

THE Irish Schools Interprovincial title is on the line at Temple Hill this afternoon (1pm) when Munster take on Leinster.
