‘Sunday World’ lawyer criticises ex-footballer who featured in articles as ‘the biggest swinger in town’

Newspaper’s legal team claims ex-footballer’s own conduct has gotten him into difficulties.

A former Kildare footballer who was described by the Sunday World as “the biggest swinger in town” started a defamation action against the newspaper yesterday.
