AMERICA grieved the victims of September 11 yesterday as the families of the dead recited their loved ones' names and messages of remembrance to a weeping crowd at the site where the World Trade Center once stood.

Thousands of family members carrying framed pictures of their loved ones and wearing white ribbons of mourning arrived at Ground Zero today to mark the fourth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack that killed 2,749 people.
