A SEARCH of the river Lee for a missing Corkman is set to resume this morning after a widescale operation failed to show up any trace of the Rochestown student yesterday.

A Corkman accused of raping a 12-year-old girl has said she kissed him when he fell on her bed accidentally and she, her family, and gardaí have framed him with allegations of rape.

Gardai investigating allegations of rape made by a Cork woman have denied threatening to handcuff and drag the accused to the garda station if he did not come voluntarily.
