LOCAL trainer Eugene O'Sullivan, whose only previous success on the flat came in a ladies race with Sam Vaughan at Killarney, doubled his tally when Head Waiter landed the Coolmore Orpen Maiden at Cork last night.

FORMER champion Ruby Walsh proved the star of the show at Kilbeggan last night, completing a superb treble, with two of his winners provided by back-in-form Co. Limerick trainer Michael Hourigan.

RUBY WALSH was to the fore again at Punchestown yesterday when partnering the Martin Brassil-trained mare Barrack Buster to a convincing win in the Total Events Rental Hurdle.
