Ballydoyle debutant Ernest Hemingway proved the undoubted star of last night’s action in Dundalk, romping to an impressive ten lengths win in the Irish Stallion Farms Maiden to spark a double for Aidan and Joseph O’Brien.

In-form trainer Paul Deegan nominated the listed Alleged Stakes (at the Curragh on April 22) as the immediate target for Sharalam following his success in the thetote.com Maiden in Dundalk last night.
