Reeve Carney is to play Jeff Buckley, who drowned in 1997, in a planned biopic, says Richard Fitzpatrick

Jack Klugman, the prolific, craggy-faced character actor and regular guy who was loved by millions as the messy one in TV’s The Odd Couple and the crime-fighting coroner in Quincy, M.E., died, a son said. He was 90.

Based on the l950s TV comedy series starring Jackie Gleason and Art Carney we have here a not-too-original and only mildly amusing funfest.

Animation pioneer William Hanna, who with partner Joseph Barbera created such beloved cartoon characters as Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear and Tom and Jerry, died yesterday.
