VOLUNTEERS at Co Clare’s only coastal RNLI station have received a new state-of-the-art lifeboat which will enter service this weekend.

THE lives of 65 Irish lifeboat volunteers who died trying to save the lives of others were remembered in a ceremony in Britain yesterday.

A CORK couple who are voluntary members of Baltimore Lifeboat have won two of the top awards in the RNLI Pentax Photographer of the year competition.
