A 25-year-old Irishman arrested during a peaceful protest in the West Bank last week is expected to be deported back to Ireland later today.

A Dublin man arrested in Israel last week while occupying a house on the West Bank is to be deported tomorrow.

The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign has organised a vigil outside the Israeli Embassy in Dublin this evening in protest at the arrest of an Irish activist during a demonstration near the West Bank city of Nablus yesterday.
