SWORDS PRINCE will start favourite to win the Tote Gold Cup next weekend after producing yet another brilliant display in posting the fastest semi-final time at Shelbourne Park on Saturday evening.

MOUNTLEADER Helen, the fastest of the heat winners with a 28.79 effort, made the top price at the Curraheen Park sales yesterday.

PROVEN WOODS emerged as the top lot at the first Saturday sales at Curraheen Park over the weekend.

OXFORD trainer Terry Kibble and Swift Leisure were both very active at the Curraheen Park sales earlier this week, picking up some choice lots.

THE top price at yesterday’s Curraheen Park sales was 5,000, which was laid out by Brian McSweeney for Terry O’Sullivan’s (Midleton) Oh So Quiet, which carded 29.11 in winning his trial.
