Helenas Soldier tops Curraheen sale at €3,300

OXFORD trainer Terry Kibble and Swift Leisure were both very active at the Curraheen Park sales earlier this week, picking up some choice lots.

Kibble paid the top price of €3,300 to secure Helenas Soldier. James Lynch's (Tralee) fawn streaked around the circuit in his pre-sales trial to win by nine lengths in 28.80.

Kibble also secured Family Princess, jointly owned by Berkie Browne and Michael Shine from Listowel for €1,800. The blue and white had carded 28.88 when winning her trial by a length.

Swift Leisure succeeded in getting two €3,000 lots. The went to that amount to get Miss Ashley Corkery's (Grenagh) Saucy Pup who was a five lengths winner of his trial and then laid out a similar sum for Mrs Kitty

Walsh's (Mallow) Canadian Blue. The latter had carded 28.94 when beating his rivals by five lengths.

Another choice lot knocked down to Swift Leisure was Best Mover. Laurence Collins' (Naas) bitch had clocked 28.88 in her trial.
