CORK put their All-Ireland Vocational Schools hurling title on the line tonight when they play Tipperary in the final at Fermoy, throw 6.30 p.m.

Former star goalkeeper Ken Hogan was tonight confirmed as manager of the Tipperary senior hurling team for a two-year term.

MICHAEL DOYLE was last night officially ratified as manager of the Tipperary senior hurlers, at a meeting of the county board in Thurles.

A decision is to be made next week on the heir to the Tipperary senior hurling management throne vacated by former boss Nicky English.
