A 17-year-old youth accused of assault causing serious harm to a 16-year-old boy has been refused bail at Limerick Children's Court.

A 16-year-old was charged today in connection with a robbery in Limerick City during which a man in his sixties had an ear bitten off.

An 18-year-old youth has admitted causing the death of two gardaí when the stolen sports car he was driving rammed into their patrol car.
