Barney Curley has admitted his part in the January betting coup which allegedly cost bookmakers in the region of £2million.

It must have been a case of déjà vu for bookmakers as four horses with a link to legendary Irish gambler and former trainer Barney Curley won in exceptional circumstances netting punters more than €2.5m.

JOHNNY Murtagh, who has decided not to appeal against his six-day ban imposed by the Newmarket Stewards last Friday, took the honours at Dundalk yesterday, completing a treble on Air Chief Marshall, Seven Summits and Fictional Account.
