The Fitzgerald family, which controls some of the best-known pubs in the country, has booked a dividend windfall of €66.45m.

THE pub, restaurant and hotel group run by Louis and Helen Fitzgerald recorded a pre-tax loss of €50.4 million last year following a property write down of €53.3m.
