THE migrant crisis in the port of Calais is about to explode again as ferry workers there resume their strike after the end of la crise, the traditional month-long summer holiday in France.

Representatives of Irish hauliers will meet Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe next week to seek his help in demanding the French government compensate them for disruption caused by the French ferry workers strike in Calais.
