BIRD FLU continued to spread across the globe yesterday, with fresh cases of the deadly H5N1 strain confirmed in Denmark and Afghanistan, suspected cases in other countries, and bird culls across Asia.

Danish authorities in Copenhagen today said they had confirmed the country’s first case of deadly H5N1 bird flu.
