BORD BIA yesterday launched a national campaign aimed at raising consumer awareness of the fact that “an egg a day is OK” as part of a healthy balanced diet.

ABOUT 400 retail outlets are taking part in a nationwide campaign to encourage consumers to look for the Bord Bia quality mark when buying chicken.

72% of Irish adults are in favour of the introduction of 'Pay by Weight' refuse charges according to a Milward Brown IMS survey commissioned by Repak amongst 1,200 adults in July.
