Wexford TD Mick Wallace is facing political exile after refusing to deal with an ethics watchdog over his company's €2.1m VAT bill.

The Independent TD Mick Wallace is expected to be let make a statement on his tax affairs to the Dáil today.

The Dáil's Committee on Members' Interests will decide today whether to launch an inquiry into the tax affairs of Indepdent TD Mick Wallace.
