PRE-tax profits at the main Irish unit of US security software maker, McAfee, increased last year by more than 50% to €21 million.

McAFEE Inc is to locate its European headquarters in Cork creating 152 highly skilled and well-paid jobs. The firm develops anti-virus software to protect computer systems.
