The JP McManus Benevolent Fund yesterday announced a €4m donation to Limerick Institute of Technology to develop a community engagement facility on campus.

Cash-strapped third-level students are being offered hot meals for €3 in a bid to put healthy and affordable eating at the top of their menu.
