IN a world first, scientists in Limerick are turning the traditional lullaby on its head by trying to find out if singing them can soothe, not the babies, but pregnant women.

UP to 70% of existing courses at the University of Limerick increased or maintained their entry standards with 27 courses requiring 400 or more points for entry, CAO figures show.
