Heritage Oil Corporation today announced that it is preparing to production test deeper intervals in the Kingfisher-1A deviated exploration well in Block 3A, Uganda.

Heritage Oil Corporation, the operator of Tullow Oil's exploration well in Uganda, today announced that hydrocarbons in three zones totalling approximately 40 metres have been encountered in the Kingfisher-1A well.

Exploration company Tullow Oil said its Energy Africa subsidiary has signed a deal with the Ugandan government to extend its activities in the country.

Tullow Oil subsidiary Energy Africa has signed a production-sharing contract with the Ugandan government in respect of Block 1.
