Glanmire Macra have made history by being crowned national Capers champions.

There were celebrations in Glanmire, Co Cork, last weekend, when the club’s public speaking team of Karen Cashman, Jenny Murphy, and Kathleen Fitzgerald were crowned national champions.

Following a challenging round of interviews in Abbeyleix, Co Laois, seven clubs have made it through to the final of Macra’s AIB Club of the Year competition.
