The West Cork derby meeting of Carbery Rangers and Castlehaven is the stand-out tie in the second round of the Cork SFC following the draws at tonight’s county board meeting at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Following the six Cork county championship games at the weekend, the fourth-round ties and relegation play-offs are now decided in all but the SHC and IFC grades.

Cork defender Lorcan McLoughlin is hoping “common sense” prevails and Pat Horgan is cleared to face Kilkenny in the All-Ireland hurling quarter-final on Sunday week.
