Irish market bucks European trend

EUROPEAN bourses ended the week in the red yesterday, but the Irish market bucked the trend managing to stay ahead throughout the day's trading. By the closing bell, the ISEQ was just 4.23 points stronger at 6644.13.

European bourses end trading in the red

EUROPEAN bourses ended trading in the red yesterday. The ISEQ index mirrored these declines for most of the day but managed to nudge ahead to finish at 6030.94, just 1.71 points higher at the closing bell.
