Travellers tonight condemned the vandalism of a public golf course in Dublin.

Philip Walton shot eight birdies to win the Ashbourne pro-am tournament, sponsored jointly by Polyflor Ireland and Pat's Carpets.

Former Faithlegg professional Ted Higgins shot back on to the winner's rostrum at St Helen's Bay Golf & Country Club after the annual Noonan Development Seniors' pro-am tournament.
