As Britain’s exit from the European Union moves into the second stage of negotiations, which will undoubtedly be accompanied by much the same torrent of speculation and gnashing of teeth about uncertainty as we saw in the first round, it’s particularly encouraging to see a young Irish company passing a vote of confidence in the future of Anglo-Irish trading links beyond Brexit.

Irish-founded energy efficient industrial lighting company eLight is set to float on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in the new year.

Construction firm BAM expects to save 135 tonnes of carbon over the next five years, following installation of a new energy efficient LED lighting system by eLIght.
