Tipperary have withdrawn from the new All-Ireland B Championship - the Tommy Murphy Cup - for counties beaten in the All-Ireland football qualifiers first round.

COLIN CORKERY, Brendan Ger O’Sullivan and Nicholas Murphy have been given starting places on the Cork team to meet Clare in Saturday’s Bank of Ireland, All-Ireland SFC qualifier at Cusack Park, Ennis.

With three teams reaching the Munster final it has been a progressive season for Tipperary football, reports County Football Board Secretary, Mr Eddie Lonergan, in his report to the annual convention.
