Irish golfer Graeme McDowell is taking part in a 15-week social media campaign to raise over €90,000 for the Children’s Medical & Research Foundation, the fundraising arm of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and the National Children’s Research Centre.

Golf superstar Graeme McDowell last night donated $200,000 (€159,000) to Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

During his athletics career, he was known as the Chairman of the Boards. But Eamonn Coghlan was only too delighted to be surrounded by a fleet of real board chairmen in New York last night.

GIRVAN DEMPSEY was in Donnybrook yesterday to make donations of €1,500 each to two special charities – Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and the Irish Cancer Society.
