A garda got his nose broken and his colleague was bitten a number of times on the arm and hands after they went to the scene of a domestic incident in Cork City.

THE family of a 25-year-old woman and her five-year-old nephew who were killed when a house in Cork city was firebombed have spoken of their heartbreak at losing “two precious members” of their family.
