A teacher in the UK who allegedly abducted a schoolgirl to France will not give evidence in his defence.

British teacher Jeremy Forrest who went missing with his teenage pupil Megan Stammers will not fight extradition proceedings against him and has agreed to return to the UK “as soon as possible”, his lawyers said today.

Married maths teacher Jeremy Forrest has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction after he and missing teenager Megan Stammers were found in France.
