A group of Dublin councillors opposed to development plans for the O'Devaney Gardens site will take their fight to the courts after losing a vote last night to block the €7m redevelopment.

Dublin City Council has agreed to include community facilities in the ongoing regeneration of a northside flats complex.

A flat complex in north inner city Dublin is to be redeveloped to house 400 homeless families.
